2021 Charity Program Application

In 2021 we plan to maximize our contribution and involvement with our non-profit partners! Instead of one non-profit per month, we will be partnering with 4 non-profits (one per quarter) per pub location.

At 10 Barrel, we know that we owe a lot of our success to the support of our local communities. To help give back, we are looking for local non-profit partners (four per pub location) to partner with us in 2021. One non-profit partner will be featured at a pub each quarter and money from sales during activations held at the pubs will be donated. If you think that you are a good fit, fill out the application below by October 30, 2020. We will announce the partners by December 1, 2020.

Children's Cancer Association

Sponsored by: Portland, OR

We deliver Joy-centric programs that create immediate and measurable improvement to the mental and emotional wellness of young patients.

At Children’s Cancer Association (CCA), we know it takes more than medicine to treat cancer and serious illness. When a child is facing life’s most challenging moments, they also need emotional healing.

For 25 years, we’ve been doing just that—delivering programs to help young patients find their Joy—one song, one friendship, one breath of ocean air at a time. Because when a child experiences Joy, their emotional well-being is positively impacted.

Simply put: Joy makes sick kids feel better.

Deschutes River Alliance

Sponsored by:

The Deschutes River Alliance is a science-based advocacy organization seeking collaborative solutions to basin-wide threats to the health of the Deschutes River and its tributaries. We advocate for water quality, a healthy ecosystem, and for the establishment and protection of robust populations of resident and anadromous fish throughout the river’s entire watershed.

Since 2013, the DRA Science Team has worked tirelessly to determine the source and extent of significant negative environmental changes occurring in the lower Deschutes River. Led by experts in water quality and aquatic insects, we are working to create a strong scientific case supporting our understanding of these changes so we can effectively advocate for thoughtful solutions.

Family Meal, a nonprofit founded in 2019 and 100% volunteer-run, provides financial relief to Oregon’s food service and agricultural workers in a medical debt crisis.

It is tough to imagine the profound impact that the recent restaurant closures across the state will have. The financial implications of lost wages for those living paycheck to paycheck will have lasting consequences. The production, processing and distribution businesses that serve restaurants will be deeply affected.

Family Meal’s capacity to issue grants is influenced by many factors, most significantly the number of applicants and the amount of money we have raised. We strive to issue the greatest number of grants, while sustaining our ability to reach as many individuals as possible.

The Giving Plate

Sponsored by:

“Feeding the hungry today with compassion & hospitality.”

The Giving Plate opened its doors in April 2010 through the efforts of Gary & Debra Kelso. Their Christ-centered passion was to serve the community during a poor economic time where many were struggling to make ends meet.  Initially, they thought helping 500 families have food on their table would be amazing, but within months from opening they had registered that 500th family and they began to realize the need was much bigger than they ever imagined. The community need for food continued to rise at an astounding rate, and has not let up.  At The Giving Plate we purpose to serve our guests with compassion and hospitality, and we are intentional in our efforts to remove the “clinical experience” of entering a food bank.
