"The world is your terrain park!" My name is Lucas Wachs. Bend OR is where I grew up and reside. Though I love to travel and spend time in new locations, Bend always draws me back like a magnet. This town has shaped me who I am and I love what it has to offer. Park skiing is where I started. I competed in in Slopestyle and Halfpipe for years going on to earn medals at Nationals and some local big airs and rail jams. Then I started building jumps on powder days and liked it a lot. Made the switch from competing to filming at the age of 16 and have been focusing on building jumps and expressing myself in the Backcountry ever since. I find my creativity and drive through skateboarding, snowboarding, mountain biking and art. These outside influences I find very important to stay motivated! Buidling jumps, riding big mountain lines, and exploring the backcountry is what I love. Reading what the mountain has to say and what it provides gives me fulfillment. This is my passion and my way of life.
