At just 23-years-old, Ben Ferguson is one of today's top young snowboarders, turning heads for his undeniable talent. Ben started strong in 2010 and 2011 racking up finishes in the top-five at the North Tahoe Series, Burton AM Series and the US. Revolution Tours. At the 2012 Youth Winter Olympic Games, he earned himself gold and silver finishes in both the halfpipe and slopestyle events. He followed up these performances with a 5th place finish at the 2013 Burton High Fives competition in New Zealand. Ben took home gold from the halfpipe competition at the 2013 US. Revolution Tour and placed 3rd at the US. Grand Prix in Copper Mountain, Colorado. In 2014, Ben placed 3rd at the US Grand Prix, 4th at the Burton US Open, took top honors in Peace Park as well stared in the TV show aired on NBC. 2015/16 season is off to a good start with Ben taking Silver Medal at X Games Halfpipe as well as working on film parts for Brain Farms new film "The Fourth Phase as well as Snowboarder Magazines new movie both released fall of 2016.
Ben is truly a new breed and is taking over the contest scene while becoming one of the best new riders in his sport. He received his first snowboard at the age of six and signed with Burton three years later, at only nine years old. Ben currently resides in Bend, Oregon with his mother, father, and younger brother, Gabe. During his off time, Ben loves to hang out with his friends, go fishing and freehand draw.
Ben got the world's attention however this past year when finished 4th in the 2018 Winter Olympics in Men's Halfpipe for Team USA. We, along side the rest of the snowboard community, couldn't be more stoked to see what Ben does next!
